Who is Tyrone?
I am the founder and CEO of Canion3D Inc., a technology company focused on the Additive Manufacturing industry, which I founded in 2015. I am a 15-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and have worked in various technology domains across several sectors. I have completed a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems and a bachelor’s in Entrepreneurship Studies. I enjoy traveling, cooking, working out, and talking about business!
Tell us more about your role in Canion3D Inc.
I make all of the decisions for the company with great assistance from other team members. I establish contacts within and outside the industry for partnership and growth opportunities. I have recently spoken on behalf of my company at various events on additive manufacturing and work as a consultant on numerous technologies for other small businesses.
What is the most difficult part of your job? But the most rewarding one?
The most challenging part of my job is that there need to be more hours in the day to do all of the great things I want to do with my company! The most rewarding part of my job is building a legacy for my loved ones and getting to innovate in a fantastic and versatile industry.
Is there anything that you would change about your professional path?
Absolutely nothing. While success has been great, I have learned the most from my many failures. The failures are what build me into greatness, not the achievements.
What’s your key strategy for the development of your company?
Staying lean in our operations and learning from (and not repeating) mistakes we have made in the past.
What do you think about the next period of time, keeping in mind the pandemic and the new business climate? How will your industry be affected?
It will be fascinating for those who are prepared for the future. We are just starting to do amazing things in our company and industry, so I can only think positively concerning where we are heading.
