I am the founder and owner of my company. I do all the work, acquisition, search my Database and network for the A++candidates.

What is the most difficult part of your job? But the most rewarding one?

Finding the right A++ candidate and then get him/her through the hiring process without loosing the candidate to other clients. Time and process is the issue from the client. Then the candidates are less committed today compared to for 7-10 years ago. Also getting response back from the client and sometimes candidates. It is chase to get the responses back from candidate when calling or sending them emails. less commitment from their side. Very much ghosting happening. Then to show the potential candidate that I am not the headhunter that does not know what I am doing and offer them jobs that does not match. There are too many “bad headhunters” out there that affect the image of a good and professional one.

Is there anything that you would change about your professional path?

No.

What’s your key strategy for the development of your company?

My network, my personal network of people I know. The industry know-how.

What do you think about the next period of time, keeping in mind the pandemic and the new business climate? How will your industry be affected?

See 2nd question/answer above.

Please name a few technologies which have the greatest impact on your business.

Technology does not really impact my business directly. Of course AI could in few years. The level I am working on, is a different level of positions, that does not impact on the way my business work, since it is people business and network I have with people. Ai cannot (not yet) impact it, but might one day. I am not doing volume business, Therefore, no software can do my work currently. it does in larger and lower level positions today. But, that is a different story and I am not sure, if this is the right way. As always when computers/software are involved, “shift in -> Shift out”. meaning the software is dependent on the people putting in the right keywords in CV and profiles, to enable the AI Software to really work well. If the CV or profile is not well written, then the AI software would not be able to detect the skill correctly and/or the potential of that person. Therefore, Ai does not necessary work well. It might work well in some certain positions like, developers, since they are so data driven skills needed, less interpersonal/social skills.

What books do you have on your nightstand?

Road racing, nutrition in sport, long distance cycling, cycling race events.
